First Time Skydiving Experience
Friday, June 11, 2021
Life since COVID has really taught us to not only live life to the fullest but to also take advantage of the freedoms and experiences we enjoy and to savor every moment. Skydiving can seem overwhelming. With the rush of anxiety, heightened emotions, and beaming energy, sometimes the first-time skydiving experience seems to happen so fast! We’re here to do our best to prepare you for the exhilarating day that changes the lives of many!
It’s Totally Normal to Feel Nervous
Skydiving is all about the fun, but it does come with a heck of a bundle of nerves! We get it. We were beginners once too! The sport of skydiving is wondrous, filled with a whirlwind of excitement, a new environment, and the unknown of leaping from a plane.
“The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown.”
— H. P. Lovecraft
We address the unknowns with a brief training of what to expect, your duties on the skydive, and even this article to help ease the anxieties. Conquer the fear of the unknown by digging your heels in on How Scary is Skydiving to unveil more!
Checklists for the Prepared
We love a good checklist: our office staff has a checklist to check you in, our instructors have checklists to get you prepared, and we have a checklist for you to maximize your day! Being prepared helps calm the nerves as well as ensures you have the best experience! Check out the checklist here: Prepare For Your First Skydive
All the Feels
We know this is your big day – the nerves, the excitement, the financial and time investment to be here. We guide you through the whole process from check-in to landing because we want this to be an experience you always remember. So how does skydiving feel? We tell it here and show you below!
Savor the Memories
Yes, we are biased and want you to get the photo and video packages but not for the reasons you think! One of the most common regrets of first-time skydivers is that they didn’t get photos or video! ESPECIALLY, if this is a special occasion, a once-in-a-lifetime thing, or ticking off a bucket list item, it is truly a great way to savor the memories, share them with friends and family, and relish with your social networks.
These types of experiences are so worth the investment, but don’t just take our word for it!
Is It Time?
COVID was a real gut punch, but we are fortunate to be a place where people can #yolo, conquer fears, and be an experience where you can truly be in the moment. Whaddya say, are you ready to write your own story and carpe diem?
